The Buckdancer - This open-back banjo has a neck is made of straight grain maple and has a black/red/black lamination under the fingerboard, peghead and heel cap and black rim cap. The peghead is inlaid with a delicately engraved Double Dolphin and a star of mother of pearl. There is a small engraved star at the 5th fret. The Kershner tailpiece, tension hoop, and hardware are nickel plated. Price $1850

The Old Virginia - This is an open-back banjo for the person who dares to be different. Styled after the old minstrel banjos of the 1840s, it has a scroll peghead and half bracket shape on the fingerboard below the 5th string. These shapes were used to identify fret positions on the old fretless banjos. The neck is made of select curly maple with a back strap of black and curly maple which forms a V on the back of the neck. There is a black/maple/black lamination below the peghead, fingerboard, rim cap and boat-shaped heel. The fingerboard and peghead has a mirror image inlay at the nut, and ornate inlays at the 5th fret and at the bottom of the neck, all intricately engraved. The rim has wood marquetry inside and out just above the black rim cap and has 18 brackets and a "No Knot" tailpiece. Price $2050
